What I want to be when I grow up: Still working on it!
Favorite college activity: Being an ambassador. I loved meeting
prospective students.
Favorite part of JMU: The Views. My office in Wilson overlooks the
Quad – it’s breathtaking!
Favorite JMU Memory: Getting my picture taken with President Alger at
the Purple Out. He was so nice!

Montebello Pkg. of Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant.
|
|
Duties and
Responsibilities
|
1. Inventory
parts
a.
Issue inventory spare parts from log sheet.
b.
Count physical spare parts issued and correct
database inventory.
c.
Build up requisitions for spare parts to be
ordered.
d.
Alert purchaser of spare parts that need
immediate purchase.
e.
Find alternate sources (other vendors, eBay,
online stores) for inventory items at less cost. Get competing quotes when
applicable for requisitions.
2. “Consumables”
a.
Be responsible for inventory and the complete
order process of items from Xpedx and General Sales. – gloves, trash bags,
mops, tape, roll towels, etc.
b.
Be responsible for inventory and the complete
order process of bolt bins in production and misc. fasteners and other items
in gray cabinets.
c.
Be responsible for inventory and the complete
order process of other non-inventory items. Printer blankets, gripper
O-rings, corner boards, buckets, CRC sprays, grease, etc.
d.
Be responsible for inventory and the complete
order process of office supplies and toners.
3. Receiving
a.
Open and distribute/put away ordered items.
b.
Receive items in the purchase order system at
the correct step in the process. Process paperwork for the next step.
4. New
inventory
a.
Set up new part numbers in inventory both
physically and in the database.
5. Data
Entry
a.
Create new purchase orders for invoiced items
not previously given a P.O. number
6. Special
Project
a.
Create/design a new system to keep track of
inventory
|
|
Qualifications
|
1. Graduate
or current student majoring in Business Management and/or Engineering that
has business & supply management experience.
2. Possesses
a responsible attitude & positive work ethic, organized, & capable of
multi-tasking.
