Organica Water - Architect Summer Internship

Our Richmond, VA office is currently looking to fill a architect summer-internship position (June – September). This opportunity has the possibility of prolongation or extension into a full-time position. This is a part-time position requiring a minimum 24 hours per week. The intern will be assisting our engineering team on various projects, most specifically our first US facility installation and LEED certification.

Responsibilities:
- Helping to LEED certify our BlueHouse product and define the certification process for all future installations.
- Modeling & rendering our products, potential installation sites, and other elements to help us conceptually prototype our facilities to prospective clients.
- Travel to construction sites to provide quality assurance, construction observation, and LEED coordination with contractors.
- Coordinating with sub-consultants related to our greenhouse product

Qualifications:
- Current or recently graduated student who is/was enrolled in an architecture program or other relevant field (undergraduate or graduate students may apply)
- LEED knowledge is required, preferably with direct experience in the LEED certification process. LEED A.P. accreditation desired but not necessary.
- Modeling and rendering abilities, utilizing software such as Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, etc.
- Familiarity with building energy modeling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft PowerPoint
- Previous internship or working experience preferred, but not required

Field Service Representative

The successful applicant will perform mechanical and electrical service on Diamond Power equipment at customer facilities involving technical oversight, troubleshooting, outage supervision, equipment installation assistance, customer operation and maintenance training, and field sales support.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering or 2-year power plant technology degree with some level of power plant experience or, without degree, a minimum of 3 years’ relevant technical experience.
