Location –Waynesboro, VA
Description
Our Waynesboro office is currently looking for a paid summer intern with a background in Engineering. The successful candidate will assist technical staff with various project tasks, e.g., performing basic web and internet based control systems for industrial refrigeration equipment, preparation of technical memoranda, and support of drawing and specification preparations.
Duties
• Assist Technical Manager in solving problems with Industrial Refrigeration systems
• Gather background design information for Engineers and Refrigeration Technical Support Manager
• Perform simple calculations; computer data entry; some exposure to design and cross training
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
• This is a full-time intern position lasting from approximately May through mid-August 2011.

Qualifications
• BS Degree in progress; students in engineering
• Related coursework experience strongly preferred
• At least two to three years of college completed
• Previous co-op or internship experience preferred
• Bright, easy to work with, good communication skills, good match skills, patience necessary.
