summer engineeering research opportunity at JMU

I am looking for an engineering student (any level) to help with a research project this summer.  This is an 8 week paid position ($9/hr, 30 hrs/week) that will revolve around modeling and testing a full size electric utility vehicle.  The selected student will work with a geography student to model the energy required to operate the vehicle along certain routes, and then drive the vehicle along those routes while collecting energy usage data for comparison.

I will be working with the student to help them model and instrument the vehicle and will also provide guidance related to data analysis.  Interested students should send me their resume.  Students are also welcome to stop by my office or send me an email to learn more about the project.

Thanks,
