Poultry Litter-to-Energy Panel Discussion
On Tuesday, February 28th, Valley 25x'25 will host a Poultry Litter-to- Energy Discussion from 3-6 PM in JMU’s Memorial Hall.
The event will be a moderated discussion, open to the public, discussing the current commercial technologies available and in use that deal with the issue of using Poultry Litter as an energy source.
Panelists include:
Hobey Bauhan – Virginia Poultry Federation
Richard LaCouture – Estuarine Center (Morgan State University)
Jim Shaberl – Shenandoah National Park
Kristen Hughes – Sustainable Chesapeake
Kevin Comer - Antares Group, Inc.
Laura Ingram – Fibrowatt, Inc.
Scott Laskowski – Bio-Burner, Inc.
John Logan – Eagle Green Energy, Inc.
Andre Dight – BHSL
The event is free, open to the public, and will be followed by a reception for informal discussions.
