I’m reaching out on behalf of MIT Sloan and the Master of Finance Program to share a few updates and information about our growing program.  Launched in 2009, the MFin program offers one year of intensive finance training.  Combining tradition, innovation, theory, and practice, the MFin program prepares thought leaders for a broad range of careers in finance.  Building on the foundation of MIT Sloan’s powerful finance legacy, the Master of Finance Program offers a unique combination of heritage, resources, and relevance that will shape the leaders needed to effectively impact the complex global economy.  The core finance curriculum is complemented with elective courses, a research practicum, and professional seminars.  Through a rigorous hands-on curriculum and what we call “action learning”, students have the chance to build a deep reservoir of finance knowledge and immediately put that knowledge to work in the world.

I invite you and your students to learn more by reading the attached brochure and by visiting our website.  I would also like to ask you to post the attached flyer in an area that is visible to your students.

Lastly, the online application for the MFin class matriculating in summer 2013 is currently available here .  Also, for your reference, our application deadlines this year are:
November 8, 2012 (with decisions released by January 15th)
January 7, 2013 (with decisions released by March 14th)

We hope you will share this information about our program with your students.  If you have specific questions, please feel free to email me or give me a call.
Best,
Kimberly
