OE Position Description - Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team that is both local and remote. The Software Developer will provide technical management of the commercial product suite and also perform hands-on development on key modules and new functionality. S/he will also be responsible for assisting with the product evolution, producing new solutions, and making the commercial product suite a success for each customer.

Job Responsibilities:

•       Providing technical management and interaction with team members

•       Creating technical requirements and working with the Engineering team to develop, test and launch the functionality on-time and with high quality

•       Developing, maintaining and validating code for the product suite

•       Identifying, troubleshooting and creating solutions to meet business requirements, resolve customer incident reports, fix system issues, and enhance system performance

•       Developing scripts, reporting and code enhancements based on customer or product need

•       Providing daily/routine operations and maintenance

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

•       Demonstrated experience with MySQL/EHCache

•       Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix

•       Quick learner, able to learn new technology and software

•       Comfortable working in a small, fast paced, dynamic environment

•       Willing to work with local and remote team members

•       Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team member

•       Excellent troubleshooting skills

Desired Skills / Experience / Qualifications:

•       Distributed programming and large data sets

OE Position Description – Test Engineer

The Test Engineer will support other engineers and developers in the company testing internally developed software, identifying software defects and bugs, writing and executing test plans and producing test reports, and user’s guides.

Required Skills / Experience / Qualifications:    

·    Quick learner, able to learn new technology and software         

·      Experience producing and executing test plans          

·      Experience using test tools and bug tracking software          

·      Good troubleshooting skills

·      Good documentation skills

·      Basic knowledge of Mobile Devices and Networks  

·      Willingness to travel  

Desired Skills / Experience / Qualifications:      

·  Experience with automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Squish) is highly desirable

·  Experience with load testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Load Runner)

·  Experience testing on mobile device platforms (Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android,

·  Basic understanding of Unix Operating Systems

·  Adept at interfacing with customers and able to produce training materials and provide training for software products

Java EE Developer (JSF/Spring/Hibernate)

Java Developer for a permanent full-time position. The Java Developer will primarily focus on providing high quality, cost effective information technology solutions to business partners by creating new or modifying and/or supporting existing software applications. The developer will be expected to design, code, analyze, configure, unit test, and maintain applications with minimal guidance.

 
The developer for this position will work on web applications that use Java Server Faces (JSF) for the UI layer, Spring framework for the service layer and Hibernate for the persistence layer.  Legacy applications use the IceFaces component library and newer applications use PrimeFaces, so experience with one or both of these is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience developing for Android, iOS, BlackBerry OS, Windows Mobile and Windows Phone, J2ME
