Job Title:  Mechanical Engineering Support

Job Summary:  Supply general support for the mechanical engineering and other departments throughout the company

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Light design work, draft assemblies and parts from engineering, according to company guidelines

• Create parts in the KBM master

• Collaborate with different departments (manufacturing, purchasing, sales, etc.) to provide support/feedback as required

• Control file management of drawings and revisions

• Manufacturing Fixture Design

Education/Experience: Includes but not limited to:  

Trade school, college

Minimum 3 years drafting experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

General drafting and fundamental design experience

Ability to accurately draw and dimension detail parts

Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

Working knowledge of 3D modeling and AutoCAD, SolidEdge preferred.

Microsoft Office, Word and Excel

Fixture Design for Machining and Assembly

Working knowledge of MRP, BOM structure and costing

Working Conditions:

Office/Machine Shop/Assembly shop environment

Possibility of needing to lift 50 pounds
