A Doctoral Fellowship is available at Texas A&M University Kingsville (TAMUK) for research projects at the Department of Environmental Engineering starting the fall of 2013. These research projects span ten areas in environmental engineering including 1) Air Quality, 2) Water Quality, 3) Solid/Hazardous Waste, 4) Ecological Engineering, 5) Natural Resources Management, 6) Environmental Systems, 7) Environmental Informatics, 8) Environmental Biotechnology, 9) Sensing Technology and 10) Sustainable Energy Systems. The Department of Environmental Engineering at TAMUK prides itself on preparing its students for creative careers in industry, government, and academia. The Department is a community of outstanding researchers, experienced educators, and talented students. It is one of the 50 best in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report. Successful candidates are expected to have a B.S. degree in engineering or science in chemistry, biology, or other related areas and are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering.
