Marketing Technical Engineer

Job Description

Virginia Panel Corporation, located in Waynesboro, Virginia, is looking for a team-oriented individual to support VPC’s Marketing Team!

Position Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Research

• Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets
• Work with Product Development team in generating standard products for the market
• Analyze VPC and competitor products in relation to market needs
• Travel as necessary to customers and tradeshows for market research

Marketing Communication

• Work with IT Staff to develop, improve and maintain online marketing/sales tools
• Develop and communicate value and benefits of new product features and capabilities to Marketing, Sales & Application Engineering teams
• Attend Engineering and Manufacturing meetings to stay current on company projects and goals

Technical Duties

• Generate models for drawings, rendering and educational purposes
• Develop/revise user manuals and technical drawings
• Design and build demos for sales and tradeshows

Desired Skills & Experience

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Engineering or related field)
• Solidworks experience required
• Ability to work and communicate within a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
• Prior marketing experience preferred
