Basic Steps to Getting Started on Recruit-a-Duke

Step 1:  Log on to Recruit-A-Duke using your 9-digit JAC card number and your password at https://jmu-csm.symplicity.com/students/

Note for first time users:  Enter your JAC card # for your username and click the "Need A Password?" box below the login and you will receive a system generated email with a password.

Step 2:  After logging in, click on the Profile tab and update your personal and academic information.

Note:  In your profile, you must read and agree to the Authorization Statement.

Step 3: Upload your resume to the system to begin submitting it to various employers.  Check out the CAP website to see the many opportunities to have it reviewed.

Step 4:  Complete the Recruit-A-Duke Tutorial online at:

Note:  Completing the 15 minute online tutorial is MANDATORY in order to participate in the mock interview program, resume review days and on-campus interviews with employers recruiting fro internships and fill-time opportunities.
