the semester begins we would like to make you aware of the class add/drop and adjustment
deadlines so you can plan appropriately.
The deadlines will be strictly
enforced, so please make necessary changes before the deadlines pass in order
to complete the transactions.
The deadlines for dropping
and/or adding fall semester classes on MyMadison are as
follows (dropping a class after these dates but
before the course adjustment deadlines result in a “W” grade on the transcript
and tuition charges):

The deadlines for adding
classes with instructor and academic unit head permission are as follows (students
will not be allowed to add classes after these deadlines and should not be
attending a class which is not on their MyMadison schedule):

eight-week class: Thursday, September
13, 2012
Second
eight-week class: Wednesday, October 31,
2012
Please be aware that receiving
an override into a full class does not automatically enroll you in the class. You must
register on MyMadison. Please note,
you will need an override from the academic unit to add classes during the add
with permissions period.
The course adjustment deadlines
(to withdraw with a W grade or change credit or repeat options) are as follows:

Class: Thursday, October 25, 2012
First
eight-week class: Tuesday, September 25,
2012
Second
eight-week class: Thursday, November 15,
2012
After the course adjustment
deadlines, you cannot withdraw from a class through MyMadison.
Please do not hesitate to

and course adjustment dates and deadlines.
