We have received a request for student volunteers to help out with a Middle School visit on April 24th (see below). They would mostly be chatting with the 6th grade students and telling them what college life is like, so no prior training experience needed.
They would also be treated to a free meal (at E-hall or D-hall) for their help. If you have students that would like to participate – only a few hours or most of the day – please let me know.
Student Volunteers and TA's needed for Middle School Visit
Wednesday April 24.
8 buses arriving between 10:45-11:00 for two-rotation schedule; departing about 2:20.
Volunteers do not have to be available for the entire time. I will work around class schedule and location.
Volunteers will be interacting with visiting 6th graders, answering questions and giving a short informal/insider tour of campus. No stress, actually kind of fun. Meal vouchers and more info readily available!
Thanks!
